Hello & Welcome

I’m Lucy Campbell, a jeweller working from my workshop at the historic Town Mill in Lyme Regis. Although I started out in London, Dorset has always felt like home. After years of childhood holidays spent beach‑combing in Lyme Regis, my family finally moved here when I was eleven — and the coastline has shaped my work ever since.

The sea has been a constant thread through my creative life. From GCSEs to my degree in Silversmithing and Metalwork at Camberwell College (University of the Arts London), my tutors often joked that my work always found its way back to the shoreline. They were right — I hadn’t even realised how deeply the coast had rooted itself in my imagination.

Today, I, along with my small team, create contemporary handmade jewellery in silver, gold, and gemstones, inspired by the textures, colours, and quiet poetry of the beach. Many pieces feature tiny shells and fossils cast directly from treasures I’ve collected while beach‑combing. Clustered pendants, earrings, and charm bangles echo the way shells and stones gather in rock pools, while other collections explore organic forms, tactile surfaces, and the soft hues of semi‑precious stones.

I believe we all carry a connection to the sea. Through my jewellery, I hope to offer a small piece of the coastline — something to hold, wear, and keep close.
